      I cannot figure out why there is no author name or date on the blog posts I’ve made on this site.

      If I take off HTML5 in functions.php both show up. But with HTML5 active, they don’t.

      What am I doing wrong… or what do I need to do?

        I figured it out. Because of a plugin I had there was this in the CSS:

        .entry-meta {
        display: none;
        }
