Assuming you’re referring to this forum…….that can happen sometimes. They (Appfinite) are using a plugin called BBPress to run their forum, so if there are any issues, it’s coming from bbPress rather than Appfinite’s site. bbPress is always making updates, so if this is a real issue, they’ll most likely get it fixed in the next update. I’d let bbPress know if you have had this happen to you…….Personally, it hasn’t happened to me yet, or at least that I know of. I always get an email notification anytime someone replies to me. Especially when I check the “Notify” box.
