I have been using Ubermenu successfully with other Genesis child themes but for reasons I just cannot understand, it simply does not seem to work as it should with Epik. Am I the only one to have this problem?

I haven’t had any problems with it at all, it works fine on my site.

What is the link to your site?

Also, please list the issues that you are having exactly.

Thanks, Scooby. The link to my site is http://www.pascalvenier.com/en/.

The issue I am having is that nothing happens when you hoover over a menu item (such as the fifth from the left) as it usually does.

I reverted to Genesis on the French version of the site, for illustration purpose and it works fine http://www.pascalvenier.com/en/

    Any thought?

It still looks fine to me, but I noticed you don’t have any sub menu links in your menu, so that’s why nothing is dropping down. I checked your code and I only see your top level menu items, but there are no other menu items (no submenu links). Once you add more links for the submenu then it should work.

Thanks again scooby. This is not so. This would have been a very basic error on my part. I checked the obvious: there are sub-menus. Now see what happens when I switch from Epik to Genesis: it does work just fine. http://www.pascalvenier.com/en/.

I have exactly the same problem with both the French and English version of the site http://www.pascalvenier.com/ and http://www.pascalvenier.com/en/.

And it also works fine using Epik without Uber Menu.

I’m not sure what it could be, but there isn’t anything inside the Epik theme itself that would affect or prevent menus/submenus from showing up. The only file in the theme that could possibly affect the menus would be the functions.php file, and if you take a look at that file you’ll see there isn’t anything that would cause an issue. I’m also working on a site for a client that uses this plugin and it works fine.

Since it is a 3rd party plugin, I would recommend contacting the Uber Menu Developers to figure out what’s going on.
