It sounds like you may have added something. I’ve had that happen to me using another theme, but it was because I made a mistake when adding in some custom code. So what all have you done to the theme?
Have you made any customizations to this theme anywhere in any of the files?
Have you added any plugins recently that may have caused this to happen?
By default the theme works fine, but if you add some code with an error in it, or if you add certain types of plugins it could cause conflicts with the Genesis Framework and WordPress itself depending on what it is and how it’s made.
