I’m wondering why my Footer Widgets aren’t working. I’ve tried setting ‘search’ in column 4 and ‘Twitter Feed’ in column 2 and they save, but then they vanish. am I right in thinking the same footer will show up throughout the site?
I’m working on this over at “http://theclassicaleducator.com” I love Optimal and can’t wait to get it looking right.
For the footer to work, you’ll need to start by placing content inside of Footer Widget 1 first. Footer Widget 1 is what activates the entire footer section. If you place content inside the other 3 widgets but forget the first widget area then it won’t work.
This is how the Genesis Framework is setup, so the same rule applies to any Genesis Child theme you use.
Ok. That is a simple resolution. Thanks for your patience.
