Tagged: featured posts, Genesis featured posts, home feature
Hi,
I have gone through the threads related to Featured Post Plugin and cannot find my answer.
My problem is that the Featured Posts widget, which is a default plugin in Genesis, is not showing properly in the widget area Home Feature #6 on the home page.
I had to change formatting in the CSS. I removed the border and gave each featured post entry a width of 33%. This was a workaround because without this it looked bad. There was no formatting it was doing at all.

Is this how Featured Posts are supposed to look like in Epik? If not, is there any suggested resource for formatting?
I am very happy with this theme. I just need help on this small thing and I am good to go. Thanks.
Regards,
Kunal
This will be fixed in the next update 1.3.1.
It’s using the same code that is used when a featured post or page is added into the sidebar. It’s also shares the same code that “Content” areas use which explains the white background and the box shadows (which looks like the border you were referring to). It’s basically a smaller version of this – http://demo.appfinite.net/epik/sample/ (view the main content area to see what I’m referring to)
I’ll have the new updates for this theme and a few others done and released within the next week or two, with the changes noted on our changelog – http://appfinite.com/changelog
Ok. Will check the link.
The update news is great.
Thanks Wes. Have a good weekend.

Kunal
