Hi I have the responsive slider in the slider widget for the home page.

The featured images for the posts are the same size but the height for one of these images in the slider is completely different – like half the height. This was working for a while and nothing has been changed (not intentionally anyway). Help with this would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a link to your site so I can take a look?

Also, it’s recommended (for all WordPress users) to download and install a plugin called Regenerate Thumbnails. Once you install and run this plugin it will automatically adjust all of your images and thumbnails to the sizes you have specified throughout your theme.

So anytime you change the size to your Slider images, run this plugin and it will make sure all of your images are set to that specific size as much as possible without stretching or shrinking the image while maintaining the best quality.

Thanks I’ll try that. Though all my photos are uploaded to the website at the same dimensions so this should not be the issue.

Do you have a link so I can see what’s going on?

The dimensions seem to be different. I noticed the first 3 images are naturally sized at 1800 x 600, while the last few images that show up large in the slider are 1200 x 600. I’m wondering if that has something to do with it.

Here is a link to the first image that is being used (1800 x 1600) – http://whattherapy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Blue-in-Hand-Transforming-Grief-1800×600.jpg

This isn’t necessarily Theme related, but it has more to do with the size of the images, the slider, and the way WordPress scales images. This same thing would happen on any theme you use.

Is it possible to create a temporary login so I can take a quick look at the slider settings, as well as your image sizes?

Great looking site by the way!

Thanks! I thought same ratio would be ok. Just changed the size… Thanks
