Hello Wes or another brilliant person,

I’m still having trouble with my site loading. I removed the eNews widget and that cut the loading time in half from an unheard of time about 10-11 secs, and I don’t know why, but the enclosed string is taken from a Wordfence report in my WP Dashboard:

      “…and tried to access non-existent page http://tomjdolan.com/wp-content/themes/legacy/images/header.png”

The above appears frequently in the Wordfence Activity Report, and in a Pingdom or WebPageTest waterfall, this always appears with a very long “waiting time” line of near 5-secs. I don’t understand why… can you comment and help me understand what may be happening.

      Thanx, Tom

If it’s looking for an image that’s not there, then that means you probably added a header image a long time ago and your site is still trying to look for it and load the image. This was a Genesis Framework issue (sort of), that happens to a few people that update the framework.

Go into your WP admin and head over to your Header uploader (under Appearances > Header) and the button that says “Remove Header Image” and see if that fixes it (it should). It doesn’t happen to a lot of users, but I’ve seen 2 users have this issue of the header/logo being in the code and the site tried to look for it when it’s not supposed to be there. This has to do with people who may have had an earlier version of Genesis ( v1.0 ) and then updated to the latest version (v2.0).
