I just converted my site to the latest version of legacy 1.4 and the responsive css is much better than previous version. However, I’m having two issue (possible just one), that I’ve been pulling my my hair out trying fix and cannot not seem to find the issue. In short, everything on the site responds perfectly except the header.
1 – The logo does not scale when the scale when the page width is less than the logo width. I tried too many thing to share. Any ideas on what is going on here?
2 – I am using the Simple Social Icon plugin by Studio Press in the header widget area. As the pages narrows the social icons float to the left and overlaps the logo. Then when the icons drop down they float left. I would prefer to have them centered. I was able to address the padding above and below the icons but for the life of me cannot figure out the width/centering issues.
I’ve seen throughout the forum that it’s recommended to upload a smaller version of the logo for the responsive css section if you have a large logo. Or you could experiment with the css “background-size” to see how that looks.
Your social icons are set to float left – “alignleft” is what shows up in your code.
