I built a website in epik and used CSS to style the home page widget areas. When I created the theme on a demo site, the widgets remained responsive.

Then I loaded epik into an existing website and created a custom CSS to make the site look the way I wanted.

However after doing that, the widgets were no longer responsive.

      The website is http://www.aperfectsmileorthodontics.com

      The plugins installed are:

      Akismet
      BackupBuddy
      Genesis Simple Edits
      Genesis Simple Hooks
      Genesis Simple Sidebars
      Google Analytics for WordPress
      Gravity Forms
      iThemes Security
      Jetpack by WordPress.com
      Revolution Slider
      SEO Friendly Images
      TinyMCE Advanced
      WordPress SEO
      WP-Mail-SMTP
      WPtouch Pro

None of these plugins seem likely culprits. I turned off WPtouch pro and it made no difference.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Appears to be due to your custom code that you added in your css. I can see that there is custom css added that overrides the main css. You would need to modify all of your custom code that you added in order for the main css/responsive features to work properly again.

Thanks for letting me know this. I appreciate it.

If I incorporate my CSS style changes into the main CSS, and remove the custom CSS will this then address the problem?

Or is the problem that there are specific errors in my custom CSS?

          Thanks!

I moved all the CSS edits into the main CSS and that fixed it. Thanks!
