I want to use the dark blue color theme. I see the images in the dark-blue folder. How do I set the theme to use them?
First head over to your Genesis Theme Settings page – http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=genesis. Look for “Color Style”. Select your desired color from the dropdown box, click save settings and refresh your site.
How would we add a new color? We can make the gradient file. How can we get it into the Genesis dropdown menu?
Assuming this is a lot of work, how would be bypass the Gen setting? Maybe substitute our own gradient file with one of yours… using the same name? Or could this be done by just putting it in Media Library and changing something in CSS… background: url(xxxx)?
Most people just add their image file to the “images” folder of the theme. Then they either name the file the same as the slider image, or rename it and change the image link in the css.
