Now, I begin to get the structure set on the nice Epik-theme.
However, there is an annoying thing with the Slider that not want to center itself on bigger screens.

It will center at first when the browser window is about the full width of the Slider (mine is 960 pixels),
and then it centers nicely in smaller sizes. But when the browser is at full screen size the Slider is
a bit off-center to the left. My site is here: http://www.comart-cms.se

Even if the CSS stylesheet is very well structured I can´t find a way to center the Slider properly
on a big screen? Any suggestions?

Your image is only 960px….so you would need to make it 1152px wide (since that’s the width of the theme). The slider area of the theme is already centered….but the plugin (which is separate from the theme) is not….it is set to float left rather than center. So most people just add a large enough image that will fill the entire space (1152px)

OK, I understand. But logically one is expecting a centered Slider, therefore it sounds odd that it is set to float left.
Maybe it is because it needs to be responsive. So now I have to enlarge the size of Slider and accept that it still will be set to the left for bigger screen sizes. Maybe I should try to center by the margin: 0 auto;, but it can affect the responsiveness.

I think they set it up that way since some users add their content on the side. However, if you decide to add a 1152px sized image it will be centered because the slider widget section of the theme is already centered. If you place any content inside of that widget it will be centered. If you place a wide enough image it will still appear centered, and will be responsive. Take a look at the Epik demo to see what I’m talking about – http://demo.appfinite.com/epik/
