Home › Community Forums › Ally Theme Support › How to change Header & Slider background colour
Hi Wes
I have been using the Legacy theme as a base for our web site (fastframe.au.com), however I liked the home page widgets on the new Ally theme. However we particularly like the colour of the Legacy them as it works well with our logo. Would it be possible to change the header colour to white (to match the logo background) and change the colour behind the slider to black like the Legacy theme ?
Thks
Greg
Yes, you can add your white background to the – #head-wrap on or around line 189 in your css.
You can control the slider background on or around line 2368 in your css – .ally-light #slider-wrap
Wes
Thanks, Home page nearly there.
Can you let me know where to adjust the height of the “Welcome”, “Home Middle Wide” and “Bottom Middle Wide” widgets and how to centre the Titles and adjust the text size ?
Greg
Please take a look in your css file, they are all in the exact order that they appear in your site. They are also labeled at the top of your css as well.
The height is determined by the amount of content that you have, and there is padding that surrounds the content.
Thanks, I think I am getting the hang of what to look for now.
Sounds great!
