      Hi

On pages with minimal content, the black epik footer comes up to meet the normal margins…

Is there a way to ‘fix’ the footer to the bottom of the viewer’s screen for such pages?

Also, I’m trying to ensure this doesn’t simply add a huge bottom-margin to all pages (i.e. ones with lots of content)

      Any ideas? thanks!

Not quite understanding what you’re asking. Are you asking how to make a section “fixed”? If so, just add position:fixed to whichever div you want to stay in position.

Thanks Scooby – I tried the ‘fixed’ solution but alas… failed miserably.

A good example of this is the contact page – http://mikemetcalfe.co/contact/

When you hit submit, the white box is small, so the black footer section rises.

If a page has minimal height (like the contact page), I want to fix the footer height.

But if it’s a normal page (like homepage with more content / vertical height) is stays as needed.

          Hope that makes sense. Thanks

Not sure what you did, but that doesn’t happen on my end. However, with all Genesis Themes (or any theme) the footer is the last div so of course if there is nothing pushing it down it will show up in the middle or wherever there is no content….which is normal. I don’t think there are too many ways to get it to stay all the way down without affecting other parts of the site.

I’m guessing you’re on a big screen of some sort? It shows up perfectly for me, but I’m on a laptop.

Cheers Scooby. On a Laptop also… so strange. We’ll let perfectionism slide on this one. Thanks for helping.
