      How do I password protect the default page of the Optimal theme?

        I’ve never actually done this with the Home page, but I’m guessing you could just use a plugin.  You can do a search on WP and see which one works best – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=password+protect

        For other pages, all you would have to do is look under “Publish” and change the “Visibility” to Password Protected.
