      On the demo site and in the documentation, the “thumbnail” size for images is 730px wide. That’s also what is in the HTML on the demo site.

      However, on my site (http://eagereyes.org), it’s 694px (that’s the width attribute in the actual ing tag). This is for an image that is exactly 730px wide. Is there a setting somewhere to change that? I don’t understand how it even gets to that value.

      I understand that the image can get scaled if the container is smaller, but this is the actual width value in the HTML.

        Yes, the image can only be so wide within a fixed area. The size is set as a default. If you want it to be larger, then you’ll have to increase the content area and also your main width of the theme which is 1140px.

        It also has to do with how WordPress uploads your image as well. Make sure the setting is set to Large when uploading Featured Images.
