Legacy Home page not displaying content properly

I have the home page set to latest posts. The main menu, slider, featured pages and posts are not showing – only the header, footer and welcome message are displayed. I have followed all setup instructions and cannot figure out why the home page is not working correctly. Any suggestions?

Do you have a link?

If you want the menu to show up, you’ll need to go to your Genesis Theme settings and check the box that says “ Include Primary Navigation Menu?“.

Are you sure you have content inside the widget areas? Try reloading the widgets page and add your content again to see if it works.

The menu works fine on the rest of the site just doesn’t appear on the home page.

I have checked the ‘Primary Nav Menu’ option and it should appear above the slider as it does on the Legacy theme demo.

Do you have a link we can take a look at?

Do you have any other plugins, settings, or custom code that may be interfering?

I have tried disabling the plugins and it makes no difference. I don’t have any custom code as yet.

Yes I can see that the nav isn’t showing at all on the homepage (the code is also missing), and the same thing with the 3 home bottom widgets.

If you can create a temporary user/password I can login and take a quick look to see what it could possibly be.

I spent a while looking around and I can’t figure out what the issue is. I’ve activated the Genesis Slider, enabled the menus, and adjusted a lot of settings and nothing changed.

The issue isn’t the Legacy theme as I have switched to another theme and the issue remained. I have no idea what it could be, but there is definitely something on your site/backend that is conflicting with your setup.

Since the Legacy theme isn’t what’s causing the issues, the only thing I can recommend at this point is to uninstall all of your plugins to see if one of them are causing the problem.
