      Hi,

Have just moved from Thesis to Genesis + Epik and love the new look.

But, in Thesis I could load my featured images from my Amazon CDN. Now I can’t do that.

From reading up on this it would appear to be the way WordPress is designed – seems crazy.

Is there a way to get around this so I can load my featured images from Amazon Cloudfront or any other external URL?

      Thanks

      Phil

Was this a Thesis theme feature? Or something else? I’m not sure if that’s possible with Genesis/WordPress or not. You’d probably need to figure out exactly how that feature works and where it’s coming from.

To be honest, I haven’t heard of too many people doing that in Genesis, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible. Since this deals more with the Genesis Framework, I would ask this question at StudioPress since they would know best. Nathan Rice is the main developer of the framework, so he would know the answer more than anyone.

          Hi Eric,

          Thanks for your reply.

I was just using Thesis 1.8. no extra skins installed.

Well there are 2 ways I can do this. Either use 301 redirects in my htaccess, or use the CDN capability in WP-Super Cache. Will prob got with WPSC.

          Cheers

          Phil
