I’ve spent 30 minutes searching for an answer to this (as I can only imagine how often it’s been asked and answered) but cannot find anything useful.
I have a logo that I need to add on the left part of the nav bar and am not sure how to add it (I assumed it was whatever you picked as “Header Image” but nothing shows up when I upload it there).
Ideally I’d like the bottom of the logo to go a tiny bit outside of the nav so that it feels like it’s on top of everything.
By default you can’t add a logo to the nav bar since thats not the way the Genesis Framework is designed. You can add a logo to the header area (like normal) and then you can create a custom menu and add a custom menu widget to the “Header Right” widget area. That’s how the demo is setup.
Gotcha. That was a poorly phrased question on my part. I do want it in the header area however I have my logo uploaded as the header image and it’s not appearing in the header area.
Turns out I had gone into the functions and disabled it. However, now I have the issue of the header area taking up about 50% too much space vertically.
The issue is that the logo takes 163px vertically but I need the header area to be less than that (with the logo hanging over the header area on top of the body a little bit).
