I am using Optimal for a new site design. I have multiple portfolio pages using the query_arg | cat=(category number) in the custom field to show the products I want on each page. I have text at the top of the page I want to show (just like if you used the single portfolio category from under Genesis theme settings.) But it doesn’t show on the page itself. Part of the text shows on the home page area where I have used Genesis Featured Page. My bad for not researching to see if this was a easy fix.
I found an early forum post that referenced a “how to” post on the old community forums on StudioPress but that has since been removed.
I would appreciate some help on this. I would hate to have to change themes.
