      Hi,

      I’ve created my menu as a primary navigation menu and it appears automatically on the left side of the webpage. I would like it on the left as in demo.

        I take it you mean the right?

        Have you changed the page layout to content-sidebar rather than sidebar-content?

        Do you have a link to the page we can see?

            Have you clicked on Edit page, scrolled down and changed the layout Settings?

              NOt sure what you mean. Where do I do that?

              Isn’t this part of the theme setting not layout?

                Genesis has a default layout but you can override this on a page by page basis.

                Left hand menu > Genesis > Theme Settings > Default Layout

                or

                Left hand menu > Pages > Edit the page you want to change > Scroll down and change > Layout Settings

                If this isn’t visible… Scroll to the Top and under where it says Howdy <yourname> is a Screen Options Tab. click this and ensure Layout Settings is ticked.

                  Hi,

                  my menu is on the left, regardless of layout settings. For example on home page and any other pages.

                  Not sure how the page specific layout settings influence menu position?

                  I can’t give you my page link as I’m running in “coming soon” mode.

                  Perhaps I’ll wait until page is completed and then post it to show you what’s bugging me. It’s not too essential at this moment.

                    Note to anyone still trying to resolve this issue:

                    Adding a menu item to the right hand side of the header is done by creating a custom menu and adding it to the ‘header right’ widget.
