CustomerHi,
Is it possible to move the arrows on the sliders slightly farther from the slider images? If yes, where do you edit it?
Thanks

CustomerI might still need help because they are not properly aligned. The one on the right is slightly outside the slider image area, while the one on the left is as aligned as the one in the demo.

ModeratorI would need to see an actual link in order to see whats going on, which means, viewing the code and the actual site itself so I can inspect everything live. Otherwise it would be like shooting in the dark as I wouldn’t have any way of seeing what the issue is.
You shouldn’t have to edit the arrows as they are supposed to align naturally. Sometimes the image/thumbnail isn’t centered, or doesn’t fit the slider area, which makes it appear that the arrows are off when they really aren’t. I would recommend downloading and running a plugin called Regenerate Thumbnails – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ …..and make sure and run this plugin anytime you upload, or change your image, or image sizes, and this plugin will automatically adjust your images/thumbnails to fit into place. This includes slider, portfolio areas, and anywhere a thumbnail is used.

CustomerOk, thanks. I have tried using the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and it’s not corrected the problem.
I will ask the person whose site I am working if I can upload it live, if he approves, and the problem is still there, I will send you the link if it’s still a bother. Otherwise, i won’t bother you. Personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal but some people might pick on it.One again, thanks for your wonderful support.

CustomerI looked at the proportions of the site and noticed that the slider is somehow aligned to the left.

ModeratorI can give the exact fix that will need to be made, but I have to see the actual site in order to do so.
The arrows are supposed to align automatically, so you wouldn’t have to make any adjustments to them. If you have, you can try removing those edits to see if it makes a change, otherwise I would have to see the link.

CustomerThanks, I have done that, and it’s not making any difference.
The owners have given me the permission to upload and will do so very soon.October 18, 2012 at 10:23 pm #1650Wes
ModeratorYou can also send the link to the contact form if you would rather not have it show here in the forums…….Or you can use a url shortener to hide the link.
If you send it to the contact form, just make sure and let me know that its in regards to this post.
