Page formatting ?

      I always use the http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/testimonials-widget/  plugin for testimonials on all client sites but can’t figure out what coding in the functions  file on this theme is causing the testimonials to appear as posts http://abuzzhost.com/holly/testimonials/

      I have the page set to default template.  Reset permalinks — nothing works so far.

      They should just be paragraph-like as on any other page.  I don’t have this happen on other themes.  Thanks!

        There isn’t anything within the theme that would affect this particular plugin. It will do this on any theme you use, since this is the way the plugin works.

        If you need to customize it or anything, then I would contact the plugin’s developer or their forum for more info.

          I know how to work with that plugin inside it out and it works on all Genesis themes the way it’s supposed except for this one.  🙁

            I’ve actually downloaded this plugin and tested it on multiple themes including non Genesis themes like Twenty Twelve and it they all showed the testimonials as posts for me. If you take a look at your functions file you’ll see that there isn’t anything that would affect it.

            The only thing I can recommend is to double check the plugin’s settings.

              Also, when I add a testimonial Widget, it shows just the title and paragraph which is what you were referring to……..but the testimonial page itself shows the post info.

                That is weird because I have it here:  http://howetofitness.com/testimonials/ just as an instance and that is the formatting I’m looking for.  I’ll triple check plugin settings but it’s only a problem on a page; if you can think of anything would be much appreciated.  🙂

                    Ah, I just went over to their forum; there’s a slight bug but I got it working now (had to fool it but it did the trick).  Thank you for your patience, I’ve had a long day, like you!
