How do I point the post “Featured Image” to the post itself?

      Thanks,
      Ron

Are you referring to the Portfolio “Featured Images” or the Blog?

If you’re referring to the Portfolio, take a look at this tutorial –聽https://appfinite.com/tutorials/how-to-remove-the-prettyphoto-slideshow-effect/

If you’re referring to the blog featured images then they should link to the post automatically.

Yes, referring to the Blog featured images. Go to our News page (http://www.aerialfilmworks.com/news/), and mouse over any of the images. The status bar at the bottom of the browser shows how the link goes to the original upload of the image and not to the news (post) article.

I’m sure there is an option, I just haven’t found it yet 馃槈

          Thanks again Wes!

You mentioned the Blog, but the link you gave is actually your聽Portfolio.

It looks like you have a page titled “News” which is using the Portfolio聽Template. 聽The above link to the tutorial will explain exactly how to remove the “prettyPhoto” functionality (slideshow that appears when you click an image) and will allow it to link to the post instead. 聽Let me know if that helps.

              Hello Wes, Eric-

I have followed the instructions exactly and cannot get the Featured Image to point to the post on our News page (http://www.aerialfilmworks.com/news/). When the replacement code is uploaded, and changed to reflect the Ally theme, the Featured Image disappears completely. I am happy to pay for consulting time to work out this problem! Please contact me ron@aerialfilmworks.com.

              Thanks!
              Ron
