Home › Community Forums › Optimal Theme Support › Problem with "responsiveness"
Dear Wes,
We applied the theme yesterday to one of our sites, however the “responsive” feature didn’t seem to work very well, as half of the widget content on the home page was missing. (meaning you could only see one half of each widget). We tried this several computers, but the result was the same.
We use “chrome” as our browser.
Sincerely,
Can you provide a link so that I can see what your issue is?
Hi Wes,
Thank you for your response, however, as our site is “live” we had to return it to it’s original theme, so there is no link to share.
I’ll try it again on one of our “less visited” sites and then post the link her for your to have a look.
Ok, sounds good. Like I said in the email, I’m quite sure its something small that I can easily adjust.
Hi Wes, I’ve got another site preview here: http://www.smileclinica.it
The “responsiveness” doesn’t seem to work and you can probably see that the left-hand widget is missing some of the text, as it doesn’t respond to the width.
http://www.smileclinica.it/ as you can probably see text from the widgets is “sliced” on the right hand side in each block, and the site is not “responsive”.
This actually isn’t an issue with the theme, the theme looks perfectly fine. It’s the plugin that you are using that isn’t setup to be responsive.
You can try contacting the plugin creators – http://support.slidedeck.com/slidedeck/ to see if they have a responsive version coming soon, or if they have a tutorial of some sort to make it responsive.
Otherwise you would probably need to hire someone to make this responsive if you want to use this plugin, as it could take some time and quite a bit of code.
