There are some other posts here in the forum that already cover this. You can search for those if you need additional help. To start off, take a look at the StudioPress code snippets for Read Me links – http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-excerpts/#content-more-link ….Then also take a look at how its done if your portfolio file and just duplicate the html part and add it to the code you add to your functions file.
Just add the same ID or Class thats in your portfolio file to the code in your functions file after you add it from visiting the SP tutorials/code snippets.
