Remove Comments and About Author from Portfolio

How do i remove these elements from portfolio posts?
Also how would I remove portfolio posts from displaying in recent posts widget?

Do you have a link to your site?

You can try excluding your portfolio categories from showing on the main blog in your Genesis Theme Settings page……not sure if that will do it, but it’s worth a try.

what about removing comments and some post meta?

The Genesis “Simple Edits” plugin makes it very easy for both the entry header and the post meta – simply remove all code from the “Post Info” and “Post Meta” sections. Voila!

Genesis/Epik absolutely rocks!
