Remove comments?

      Hi,

      For various reasons I want to remove comment functionality (at least temporarily) from the blog. I’m doing it with a plugin right now, but I’d rather just do it “correctly” without a plugin.

      What would I want to comment out so that there is no comment section, and so that there is no reference to comments up by the title?

        Have you tried disabling them from the Genesis Theme Settings, as well as the WordPress Discussion Settings page (in your admin)?

          Thanks, Eric! I was under the impression that if I did that it would still show old comments, but I just tried it and indeed, it does the same thing the plugin I was using did, by removing all trace of comments.
