I’ve tried several different ways to reposition the post title and post info after the featured image in the Blog page and the category archives, and so far, I’m only batting .500

I’ve been able to move the post title so that the image is to the left, and the title is above the excerpt, but nothing I’ve tried seems to make the post info (date and comments link) move between the post title and the excerpt. It really really wants to stay above the image or below the content, on a full line all by itself.

I tweaked the CSS once, but that didn’t seem to affect it… am I missing something?

    Using Adapt 1.3, Genesis 2.0.1

I’ve seen this posted a couple times here – http://www.billerickson.net/genesis-featured-image-alignment/ see if that helps….if not, then you may just have to add “clear: both” to the “entry-content p” in your css.

I’ll take a look at that, thanks!

Also, I took a page from your playbook, and copied the Adapt Portfolio template and modified it to be the archives template for my custom post type… so I should be able to get the same thing working for the category template.

and yes, I put Appfinite on there already, for very good reason ๐Ÿ™‚

All done! http://www.genesisthemesguide.com is ready, save for me fiddling around with some colors and textures maybe. Your portfolio template did the trick, despite the weirdness I keep running into with Genesis 2 and custom post type archives.

Then all I need to do is find the time to add more themes and theme shops, and dig up a good plugin that will allow visitors to submit reviews ๐Ÿ™‚
