Tagged: Return to Top
This “Return To Top of Page” link came with Epik. It is at the very bottom, just above the copyright section. It doesn’t work. How do you get this working? Thanks in advance.

Do you have a link to your site? The return to top code actually comes from the Genesis Framework, (not the child theme) and the latest version of Genesis 2.0/HTML5 doesn’t have the Return to top code any longer. They removed it in the latest versions.
Wes, my link is here.

Thanks.
It looks like you may have added that in when you edited your footer (with a plugin, or your functions file directly). The #wrap
is no longer inside the Genesis framework (2.0+), and the Return To Top isn’t either. So I would either remove that code that you added, or you’ll have to add an ID to your site and then relink the “Return to Top” to it……otherwise it won’t work since they’ve removed that feature from the framework.
Wes, You were right. I had installed a plugin called, Genesis Simple Edits. It worked well, but unfortunately it included that Return to top of page fake link. I have looked for that in the code and can’t find it, so I will put that on back burner since I have other things I must attend to. With the current colors it is very hard for a reader to see anyway. When I get more experienced I may do your suggestion of adding the ID and relinking this code to it.
Ok, just let us know if you run into any issues when you decide to get it setup.
