    1. on , i’d like:
    a) to place the RSS chicklet below my last posts’ list.
    b) to place some text above my last posts’ list – something like “Things you may have missed”.

    2. is it possible:
    a) not to display at all my last posts’ list in the sidebar (in some pages)?
    b) place my last posts’ list somewhere else in the sidebar, say above “Categories” (still on the test page mentioned at the beginning of this post?

    Thanks.

It looks like there are some words missing in your posts or something. Can you be a little more clear on what you’re asking?

    Thanks

Not sure how to add the RSS thing….maybe you could find a plugin to do it, and then add it to your widget area.

To add some text above your posts you could just add text in the title field of the widget….or add a Text widget above it. Other than that, there aren’t any easy ways to customize that particular widget.

    For 2. a) – I haven’t seen a way to do this.

    Thanks for your reply.

But there’s already a plugin added to my widget area for the RSS chicklet.
I created it with Genesis extender plugin as follows:
    – custom widget area
    – name: xxx
    – hook: genesis_after_sidebar_widget_area
    – hooked

The thing is I don’t know what to do in order to place this widget (RSS chicklet) below my last posts’ list (but i know this is possible since i’ve seen it on other websites, not Genesis child themes).

As for question 2. a), i therefore understand this may not be possible with a Genesis child theme, is that right?

    Thanks.
