Hi there, I am a total newbie and it shows! Anyways, I want to know where to add the images to link to the slider in main page : http://www.foodtruckcampus.com . I downloaded the Genesis responsive slider. I linked it to Slider under widgets, and I even put my pictures under Slider 1, Slider 2, Slider 3 , Slider 4 pages ( Default pages with demo ) feature image. But I do not think this is where to add my pictures so they show up in the slider on home page.I also chose PAGE for the type of content under Slider Settings, cause I am assuming the home page is set up as a “page” and not a “post”. I just cannot figure out where to add the images- I know they need to go under “featured image” section ( I don’t want to mess with code, so I’d rather learn it this way ).
Thanks in advance for all your help . Cheers !

Take a look at this comment – https://appfinite.com/topic/how-to-add-images-to-the-slider/#post-5434 (just this comment, not the others) and then come back and tell me if that was helpful.

You should be uploading “Featured Images” to the pages that you want the images to show up in the slider.

Also, here is a video I just found – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ29XTzSU14

          Scooby,
Thanks for your response. I guess this is how I ended up figuring it out (There is probably more than one way to do it): For each image I want to add to the slider in Landing page, I create a separate Page, on which I add a featured image. So I go to Page>Add New >feature image and I add it. And it works, well except that I do not have the right image sizes, but still experimenting overall.

          Thanks for your help !

            You’re Welcome

You can also use a plugin called Regenerate Thumbnails to adjust your images to fit within the slider better.
