      I’m developing a site at http://filmmakersvillage.com/garage using inSynch and the Layered Slider that has been added to the “Full Width Slider” widget via their widget. I have set the slider to loop through 2 slides 5 times. However, the slider transitions from the 1st to the 2nd slide with no issue but it does not return back to the first image to restart the loop. I left a message with the plug in developer (yet to receive a reply) but for grins, I added the slider short code for the same slider to a post just to see if the behavior was different and low and behold the slider works as it’s supposed to looping 5 times when the short code is added to a page. This made me wonder if the issue isn’t a slider issue but a theme issue. What ya’all think? Is there something quirky in the inSynch theme that might inhibit the Layered Slider to properly loop when their widget is added to the “Full Width Slider” sidebar?

        Received a reply from the plug in developer who said;
        “I believe your theme is overwriting some of the slider’s settings. Please try to switch to a default theme too see if the looping works properly that way.”

        Any chance of getting a fix for this? I guess it could be genesis but determining that is above my pay grade.

          I’m not sure why they would say that, there isn’t any code inside of this theme that would interrupt it’s functionality. All the functionality is controlled by the Slider itself, there’s no code added that can control or alter how it works.

          My theory: I think they have dealt with so many different people (mostly from Themeforest) using so many different themes (that have added extra functionality) that they probably assumed this was one of them and gave you a basic response that they always use when issues come up. It’s not just them, a lot of Plugin developers do this when they’re unable to figure out what’s going on……but a lot of the time the issue comes from their own plugin. It could be an issue related to WordPress itself…there was an update recently, so it could very well be a possibility that they need to update their code.

          I have this theme too, and have checked the code in every file and there is nothing that would affect the functionality. You can also check yourself to see, there is no mentioning of this plugin in any of the files.

            did you ever get an answer to your question about the full width slide in Epik theme. I can’t get anything to look right with the genesis slider, wide or not.
