      Right, I am sure my question is going to make you laugh and that’s ok as I am new to WordPress and have been learning over the last month or so.

      How do I add images to the Responsive Slider in order to display them using the “Slider Wide” widget of the website?

      I was inspecting the code from the Demo and I can see that Wes has used the Flexslider. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

        The “Slider Wide” is a full width widget area, so if you add something in it’s place it would need to either be set at a very large width or it needs to be responsive so it will stretch to each end. I’m using the Genesis Responsive Slider in the demo BTW. I think you can do it with that plugin, but it’s been a while since I last looked at it. I’ve used some other plugins that can definitely do it for sure, but try out the GRS and see if that works.

          Thanks Wes,

          Now the question is how do I add images into the Genesis Responsive Slider? All I can see in the settings are options to either add information from posts or pages. I know I am missing something very basic..

            Hi Wes,

            I knew it was something very simple, I just have to create some untagged posts with the images I want and then use the IDs of the post to add them to the slider. I will give this a go and if I run into any trouble I will post for help. And if it works I will also post back to let you know we can close this topic.

              Ok great! Sounds like you already have it figured out, but I have a basic tutorial in the Tutorials link above, and there’s also a video on youtube that explains how to set it up if you need.

              Just let us know if you have any other questions.
