I think this topic falls outside of Appfinite support, but I’m hoping there’s a plugin someone can recommend, or a WordPress forum someone can point me to where I can get an answer.

I’m trying to finish up a long term project for a client and I’m stuck. She started out with a static site, and I built a WordPress site for her using Genesis & Ally — which she loves!

But I can’t figure out how to get a specific javascript from the old site to work in WordPress (mouseover that changes colors to demo options).

The original site and script are here (upper right corner, under ‘DNA Helix Pendant Colors’): http://perpetua.us/shop-pet-dna-jewelry.html.

The new WordPress site is here, and I want to replicate the original javascipt on individual product pages – for example: http://perpetuadnajewels.com/classic-dna-pendant/

I appreciate any suggestions on where to find a solution for this WordPress customization — thanks!

That might be difficult since it’s dealing with javascript. Javascripts a bit more complicated which means it could be a number of things causing that issue. If I come across any plugins that can do that for you I’ll let you know.

@ scooby – Thanks for responding.

    The original is javascript.

If there’s a way to accomplish the mouseover color change a different way, that would be fine, too. Could it be done with jquery or HTML5?

If so, where would I find out how to do it?

Well I know you can do the hover effect with css….but based on what I saw, you had something else going on where it would change to multiple colors, and it would remember what the last color was, right? I don’t think you can do that with css. I’m sure it could be done with jquery or html5, but I couldn’t find any tutorials out there that could do it….in a simple way at least.
