I’ve added a 360×120 pixel image by uploading it with the “custom header” tool in WordPress.

It seems to have pushed the navagation menu and other content on the main page down, which I’d like to fix.

Also, when viewing it on smaller screen sizes the logo doesn’t resize. On an iPhone it it cut off on the right. It also never switches to centered rather than left justified. When I had just text in the header it seized and by the time it got to a phone size screen it switched to centered rather than left justified. I’d like to figure out how to make the custom image behave more like the text used to.

Ok, it’s the same issue as this – http://appfinite.com/topic/epik-header-image-navigation-area/#post-8430 ….the solution there should be enough to fix it. If you run into an issue just let me know.

That took care of the first issue in my original post. The nav menu is not pushed down any more. Thank you for the help!

But the logo still doesn’t re-size and center for smaller screens. An iPhone screen is a good example of what I’m talking about.

If you add background-size: contain !important; to your #header in the responsive section of your css then it should work.
