I’m working with another developer on a larger site and just made the switch to Epik after frustrations with a previous theme. The other developer has added Visual Composer to the site to help with quick design and setup. Also, the TinyMCE plugin and a Font Awesome plugin that are supposed to work well together. However, somewhere between the three plugins, the Font Awesome icons/fonts are not showing in widget or post dropdowns for easy insertion. Shortcodes work, but the client will not be able to easily maintain the site via shortcodes. Anyone else have this issue or know of a solution? Or is there a better recommendation?

Disclaimer – I’ve never used Visual Composer for any Genesis site, and personally think it would go more smoothly without it, but that’s not my call.

I’ve never used Visual Composer or heard of anyone else using it with Genesis either, so it may be difficult to find someone using it. If no one replies here, I’d try the SP community forums to see if anyone there may have used it.
