Welcome feature 1, 2 & 3.

Hi,

I would like to increase the number of “Welcome feature Widgets” to 5 or 6 from the default 3.

Can this be done?

UPDATE:

I have copied and pasted Welcome feature 3 in my function php file to make another 2 widget area’s and renamed them 4 & 5.
They are there in the widget area (under the original 3) and I have added a text widget but the content doesn’t show up on the site.

Any ideas?

Yep that’s what I usually recommend (copying/pasting and renaming the widgets). The other thing you’ll need to do (if you haven’t already) is register the widgets in your functions.php file. Just copy/paste the widgets at the bottom and rename them to whatever you named them in your home.php file. You’ll also want to copy/paste the css as well

oh, i didn’t touch the home.php file, do i need to use this file?

Yes the functions file widget code registers the widget….and the home.php file displays it. So just copy/rename the widgets you want to duplicate.
