White strip on home page

      Hi,

      I know this will have been asked before, but how do I remove the white strip at the top of the page? i.e. above the slider, below the header.

      I’ve literally just starting working on my site which is here

      It also appear if I don’t have the slider, and have welcome wide as the first widget.

      Many thanks for your help.

          I have the same problem here. Tried your referenced solution, didn’t work. Any other ideas?

            @chuff80 I don’t see a white strip on your page, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Can you point to it so I can take a look?

              It’s the white bar below the primary nav, above my email opt-in graphic.

                I’m still not seeing a white strip when I view your site – http://i.imgur.com/hhKB8Ds.jpg

                I’ve checked in multiple browsers and they all show the above result.

                  Well, it’s not there for me any more either. It magically disappeared.

                    Not sure what happened. Maybe it could be a plugin you have installed? If so, maybe it’s showing something for admins that logged out users are unable to see? I’m not sure if that’s the case, but it’s possible.

                    If it shows up again, just let me know and I can login for you as a temporary user to see what’s going on if you want.
