Hi,
The YouTube block doesn’t work. Here’s how I add it to the blog post:

And it doesn’t show live on my page:

How to fix it?
Let me take a look at this and see what I come up with.
It seems to be working for me. I’m not sure why it’s not showing on your end. Can you tell me what version of Aspire you’re running? Are you running the latest version of WordPress and Genesis?
Did you want to create a temporary login so I can try and upload one myself?
Hi Wes, thank you for your answer.
I’m running WordPress 5.2.2. It says it’s the latest version.
How do I check the Genesis & Aspire versions? (However, it doesn’t show me any available updates – so I assume it must be the latest version.)
The Aspire version can be checked by clicking the Theme Details on the Appearance page….or you can look at the style.css file. Same thing for the Genesis Framework. You should be able to hover over the theme and the Theme Details text will appear (click for the theme info).
If you need me to login and try it on your site just let me know.
Hi Wes, after weeks of being stuck on this, I finally figured it out and I thought I’d let you know.
It was a particular plugin that made the site crash as well as block all YouTube videos. The moment I de-activated it, everything worked again flawlessly.
The plugin causing the problem is called: GDPR Cookie Consent (by Webtoffee)
