      Thank you so much Wes. This worked like a charm. I changed the padding to 20px across the board to give it a bit more spacing & now have a nice 8 blog posts showing.

          Okay – go figure we ask for help & it’s magically fixed! ha ha

          Looks like we still had a width of 1700 hanging on in the code after we regenerated thumbnails. Changed it back to 1152 and it’s fixed.

          I am curious why we were having problems with the push to the left? Will it cause problems if we change the size of the slider? If we want the slider images to be larger or to be full width what are the best practices you suggest with your theme and the genesis responsive slider working together?
