I have deactivated the caching plugin (Word Fence) and tried again. It’s still showing the default Light Blue.
What I did was to change all of the instances of #19c1ff (default) to #293f5e (Epik Dark Blue) and it’s working now. Not sure why changing the orange didn’t work.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for the response, Wes.
Yes, I have changed the color/skin in the Genesis Theme Settings. Here is what I have done:
1. Modify the CSS, changing all of the color codes for “Orange” to #293f5e (Dark Blue) using Find/Replace All
2. Save the style.css
3. Go to the site and refresh
4. Go to Genesis/Theme Settings
5. Change the color from Default to Orange
The color is still the default light blue.
teamaherl – that’s how I did it.
Add an image to a post and post the whole url to your FB page and see if it picks it up.. I find that creating and image with the focal point in the very center of your (say featured image) works best for FB as it defaults to a square image link on the FB page.
Terence – That’s exactly what I ended up doing. I searched/replaced on the Epik Blue and it seems to have worked great.
Perfect. Thanks for taking the time to post the links and thanks for your help.
Hi. I’m needing to use a color other than one of the ones in the theme and am wondering where to find the code. I cant find it in the style.css for the theme.
Please disregard this. A little more googling and I located where in the functions.php file.
Thanks for a great theme.
