Hi Wes,
Thank you for your answer. I wasn’t referring to a plugin, but rather the built in feature with Genesis when you go to the settings. As long as I remember, there has always been a “primary nav extras” option, that offers date, twitter or a search bar to the Nav box.
I am just wondering how to get a nice small search box into the secondary nav area of the epik theme that we’re using….
Any ideas?
Yes I have tried it, however the styling wasn’t right, as your secondary menu is much smaller than the standard (one of the reasons why I chose legacy) and the wordpress search box / button is much too big to go in there nicely…
I was also worried that the “responsive” navigation wouldn’t work correctly with the plugin.
Thank you Wes, that worked.
And would I remove the background colours / images in the Legacy Blue version? I’m looking to build a minimalistic site with blue header titles and hyperlinks.
Hi Wes, I’ve updated the Legacy version and it’s working fine, thank you, I didn’t realise that it was updated.
Now I just have to sort out the “optimal” theme….
http://www.smileclinica.it/ as you can probably see text from the widgets is “sliced” on the right hand side in each block, and the site is not “responsive”.
Hi Wes, I’ve got another site preview here: http://www.smileclinica.it
The “responsiveness” doesn’t seem to work and you can probably see that the left-hand widget is missing some of the text, as it doesn’t respond to the width.
Hi Wes,
Thank you for your response, however, as our site is “live” we had to return it to it’s original theme, so there is no link to share.
I’ll try it again on one of our “less visited” sites and then post the link her for your to have a look.
