To be more specific, I’d like to change the color of the hyperlinked text within posts/pages. Thanks for any help.

I’d be interested in a solution for this, too, and have the same problem. I wonder if it’s a mobile responsiveness issue. It seems to happen only on thumbnail images, like on archive pages (or blog pages set to summary).

And as Photoshoppe mentioned, it happens when you pull the corners of a page in smaller — the thumbnail image actually expand and appear distorted as it stretches the thumbnail (so it’s not the full-size image).

It also happens on tablets when you turn them vertically. When you look at the page on an iPad, for example, in the horizontal position everything scales fine. But when you turn the iPad vertically, it scales as if it’s on an iPhone. But it looks wrong on the larger size page. Also, just a few of the letters from the copy show up to the right of the enlarged thumbnail. If you need a link as an example, here’s one from my website (in case Photoshoppe’s site isn’t live yet).

That worked! Thank you so much, Wes.

Just wanted to clarify that it is the content that is not showing on the portfolio page. It was showing before the updates. I believe the content should be possible because in your portfolio page tutorial it says this:

“After you have added a title and content, make sure and select the Portfolio template …”

Thanks for your help. That’s very kind of you to offer. I went ahead and changed the thumbnail default size and think it looks better. I added one larger image in the slidebar and can see it working as you suggested. I’ll have to work on getting some bigger images to use. It’s starting to come together. I think your themes are beautiful.

Thank you for taking the time to field all my questions. Unfortunately the plugin is only set up to add choices to the secondary menu. I’ll keep working on it and see if I can get it sorted out.

                    >>For example, in your Genesis Featured Page widgets I can see that you didn’t select a thumbnail size

Thanks for your response. Maybe there’s a glitch somewhere because I do have the thumbnail size home-featured-post 210×150 selected. Isn’t that the correct way to do it? But it doesn’t seem to be responding to that setting. I’m at a loss. Will I have to change the default setting site wide?

Well, I ran the plugin you suggested, and not only did it not solve my slider problem, it messed up all my thumbnails on the front page. They are now various sizes, sometimes 150×150, sometimes the size I set on the homepage widget.

Forgot to say I’m using the Genesis Simple Menus plugin to create the custom navbars for different pages/posts. This only works for the secondary nabar, though.

Doesn’t do what I need, though. The custom menus will only show in secondary navbar, which in Optimal always shows at the very top. Primary is always the same navbar for every page. So I’d need to have the custom (secondary navbar) down below instead of the primary. Is that possible to reposition?

Thanks. Okay, so I set my slider to 350px and it doesn’t change. I would like my slider to extend below like the demo. I wonder if this is a hold over from a previous Studiopress theme that was edited deeper to accommodate my previous logo.

I’m not sure where to find the place anymore, where I can see the size of the top of the header area compared to the default. I may need to make that shorter again rather than messing with the image, which is probably fine. Can you tell me where to look for that setting?
