Thank you Wes. I apologize for the bother, you are right. I had someone work on this site for me and they aren’t available anymore for asking questions or making edits and I did find some custom code in the Functions.php that created this masonry layout. I was able to change the number inside that custom code.

Thanks for the prompt response Wes. I’m still not able to get it work as I don’t have a Portfolio area in the Genesis Theme Settings. What am I missing here. See my screen shots at this link:

Is there a plugin that’s missing to have the portfolio show up in the Genesis Theme Settings or are you referring to the Blog. I have the Blog page assigned in the reading settings of WordPress. Would that be causing the problem? When I took it off however it made the layout look horrible. See the second page of the PDF link.

Yes, that worked perfectly. Thank you. I also discovered that you can limit the excerpt by using the “Insert More” tag in the post. Yeah, finally I got it to work.
