      Hi,

This new testing Site from Google for whether your site will pass or fail affects SEO – https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/

Yet every site I use Legacy on with the Genesis responsive Slider FAILS.

      Any ideas on a fix?

This site we removed the slider, it now passes – http://www.onestoppatioshop.com.au/

And yet another, and this one a simple site also fails – http://www.peterbutler.com.au/

        Hi Peter,

I tried taking a look, but I have no clue. Since this is a 3rd party plugin it’s recommended to contact the developer that created it as mentioned here. StudioPress actually created the Genesis Slider, so it would be best to contact their support team to help figure out what’s going on – http://my.studiopress.com They would know best since it is their product.

FYI Wes/Appfinite didn’t create or have any involvement with the plugin, they only use it on some of their demos…..A lot of people think it’s an Appfinite plugin, so I thought I’d clear that up.

Yep, @Jason M is right, this is a StudioPress plugin so they’ll be the ones who will be able to fix any issues with it.

Make sure and let them know it’s a PLUGIN issue and not a theme issue or they may send you back here by mistake.

Although, I personally wouldn’t be too concerned about it. Your site looks perfectly fine, and I don’t think it will affect anything like SEO, Performance, etc. I definitely don’t rely too much on Google’s tools, because they are not always 100% accurate.

I had a confirmed “mobile friendly” responsive theme FAIL the new Google Mobile Friendly test. Stumped. Then I realized that I had used a couple security plugins (Wordfence, All in One WP Security) and the .htaccess file had been changed which did not allow Google to properly crawl the site. Deleted the offending stuff and it suddenly PASSED.

On this – is there any way to make the menu a “hamburger” menu when the screen size gets small enough?

My menu looks great on desktop, but takes up the whole screen on mobile. Any way to do this?
