Add Adsense in Home only in the first post

Hi,

I tried to add adsense in the home page, but only in the first post, i know is a loop but i need to add a banner only in the first post, not in all the post. I tried different code but without success, or do you know how i can create a widget after the id=”content” to put a banner.

Try placing your code in a text widget and it should show up.

I already tried it, my default home-page is the blog page, i don´t want the normal home page, do you know what else I can try?

You may want to take a look here – http://codex.wordpress.org/User:Tomhanna/Adding_Ads_to_Wordpress this is an official doc from WordPress that explains ads and how to set them up….since you’re trying to add it to a post.
