bbPress forum compatibility

Hello-

Is this theme compatible with the latest version of BBpress. I am trying to migrate forums, topics, and replies and they import directly into WP but fail to display on the dev site or “connect” with eachother. For example – forums page show 10 forums and each forum shows 10 topics but then when the individual forum is selected it says there are 0 topics found.

I am wondering if it is a compatibility issue with the Epik theme? Know if bbPress works? otherwise- is there another forum plugin that is compatible or better to use for Epik?

Yes bbpress works with any Genesis child theme, as you can see from this site. There are no issues with the Epik theme and bbpress together (I’m using it on a site with no problems). The child theme won’t affect the functionality of the bbpress plugin since there is no code within the theme to do so. If you’re having functionality issues with the plugin then you would need to contact the bbpress developers/forum here – http://bbpress.org/forums/ so they can help you get everything setup. They should have documentation and guides on their site as well.
