Blox Plugin: Any Users? Any Insights?

I’ve been looking into the Blox Lite plugin for use on themes built on the Genesis Framework. I’d like to do things like access web hooks to create graphic headers. I’d also like to add sections to internal pages in the same way that the home page utilizes widget sections to help tell a story. Apparently, the premium version of Blox is able to accomplish this.

Any insight on this, any better plugin or methodology is greatly appreciated.
