Homepage › Community Forums › Aspire Theme Support › Cloned my site, now Full-Width is gone? Did I mess it up???
I designed my new site using Aspire Pro on a sub-domain. I just cloned the site to replace the design on my primary domain, and everything looks good except it is not full-width. The images on the homepage don’t go all the way across like they did before. Any thoughts or help? I hope I didn’t mess everything up. 馃檨
Good Site: http://new.bluespoons.co
Problem Site: http://bluespoons.co
Both sites look the same to me. Did you clear your cache?
How strange Andy. Yes, I did, and it still shows them different on my screens. Here are 2 screenshots:

(you can see the white space on either side of the black)

(where as on this one, the black goes to the edge of the screen – this is what I want, but on the primary domain!)
I hope I won’t confuse the issue further for you…but I took a look at your site (both versions) using the Macintosh Chrome browser, and I see the white edges on both of your site versions…the old and the new.
I checked the size of your header graphic (black background with those selfie pictures) and see that it measures 1600 x 1050 pixels.
The theme documentation seems to recommend setting these background images at 1800 x 1200 pixels.
I don’t know…but I’m just wondering if this might be part of the problem.

Oh no! I was looking at the default size indicated in the Customize section (see screenshot below). I will change them and see if that helps. Thanks!

Okay, I changed the dimensions on the homepage images. It looks good on my end, but would someone else mind checking it? Thanks so much everyone! I appreciate the help. 馃檪
Hi,
Looks like changing the size of the graphic helped…I’m happy about that.
But there’s another problem…and I saw this earlier before you resized the graphic. Here’s a link to a screenshot I made…it looks this way in Macintosh Chrome browser and Macintosh Firebox browser…on my Macintosh…something looks “off”…but I have no idea if that’s just peculiar to my system or if there’s actually a problem.

I’m so glad you shared that with me Christian. I asked a friend to send me screenshots (not knowing she has a mac as well!), and the text on her screen was actually up in the photos. Either way, it’s not good! :/
I am going to open a new ticket asking about that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! 馃檪
…… @GeoUser Christian, I just removed all the css that made the text appear correct on my screen. Would you mind checking it on yours again and letting me know what it looks like now?
Hello @cmagras,
I took a look and sorry to say but it looks like the problem is still going on. Here’s a link to a screenshot from five minutes ago.

I’m sorry I’m not any kind of expert so can’t really help figure out the problem, but I’m happy to continue testing this with you any time.

No worries Christian! I appreciate your help and the screenshot! I opened a new ticket since it is unrelated to the image sizing. 馃檪 @geouser
